Adebola (Debo) Omololu is the CEO & co-founder of GetFundedAfrica, a tech-based marketplace connecting African founders with global mentors, coaches, corporates, investors, and government. It assists founders in finding funding, growing and scaling, creating jobs, and solving Africa's unique challenges.
GetFundedAfrica aims to uplift people and economies in Africa through entrepreneurship. Additionally, Debo is an intrapreneur and entrepreneur with two decades of experience in business development, market research, and venture capital, focusing on strategy, fundraising, venture capital, business & product development, sales planning, and providing market insights on emerging markets.
Before launching GetFundedAfrica, he worked in the banking, financial, and tax sectors, where he developed and honed salient skills in fundraising, market research, business planning, strategic analysis, alternative investments, educational technology, artificial intelligence, tax accounting, management, entrepreneurship & leadership; most of which continue to serve him well in his current chief executive role.

Patrick Asare
Patrick Asare was born and raised in Ghana. After completing secondary school, he attended university in the former Soviet Union, studying electrical engineering at Donetsk National Technical University in the then-Soviet Republic of Ukraine. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and completed a certification program to become a Russian language teacher.
Patrick resided in the Soviet Union from 1985 to 1991, during the historic perestroika era, when President Mikhail Gorbachev introduced the reforms that ultimately led to the breakup of the Soviet Union. He traveled extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe and became one of the few people with firsthand knowledge of ordinary life on both sides of the Iron Curtain.
After graduating from Donetsk, Patrick immigrated to America, where he taught Russian and math in public schools in Buffalo, New York. He earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1995 and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 2003.
Patrick is a principal at UGI Energy Services, LLC, a diversified energy services firm in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, where he lives with his family. He previously worked as a senior electrical engineer at Caterpillar, Inc. in Lafayette, Indiana.
Patrick has written extensively on social, political, and energy policy topics. He is a Democracy and Development Fellow at the Ghana Center for Democratic Development, an Accra-based think-tank. Some of Patrick's energy policy articles have received attention worldwide.

Dr. Amegah Alice (PhD)
Alice is a risk-taker, impact-driven, solution-oriented and collaborative. As a champion of the transformative skills development agenda, she has seven years of accumulated international experience in applying psychology and education research, practice, policy, and advocacy work towards achieving quality, equitable, and resilient education systems in low and middle-income countries. I extensively focused on improving young women’s participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
She additionally works with governments and not-for-profit organisations to design guidance and counselling and employers’ engagement systems in TVET, secondary education and tertiary education to help young people understand the world of work and create enabling systems for practical school-to-work transition. My research and practice have progressively impacted over 20,000 young people, especially vulnerable girls and boys with HIV, teenage mothers, girls with disabilities, and girls living in rural and slum communities.
She is passionate about employer engagement in education, school-career guidance and counselling, skills development, and bridging the gender gap in STEM and TVET. She is an experienced adolescent health counsellor and teacher who has supported and taught young people in various settings across Ghana and internationally. She volunteers and works with Education and Employers Charity to engage with public schools across the UK as part of her contribution to challenging stereotypes among young people.
Her PhD in Education and International Development at the University of Cambridge investigated the lived experiences of young women pursuing STEM-TVET in Ghana. As a young leader at the Forum for World Education, she has spoken on student resilience and motivation and her efforts to improve digital education in Ghana. She continues to engage policymakers and practitioners in Ghana and worldwide to bring about the change she envisions.

Nihal Shah
Nihal has dedicated the past 12 years to developing Biodeal Laboratories into a WHO-GMP-compliant facility by focusing on capacity and capability development within the quality management team, systems, processes, and infrastructure. The journey has continued with the implementation of a management leadership program aimed at enhancing managers' collaboration and communication skills and leadership abilities. With the guidance of a consultant, the goal is to improve productivity and position the company as a globally recognized brand with world-class standards.
In 2019, Nihal's company became part of the Stanford Seed program, a prestigious initiative that supports next-generation family-owned businesses. This opportunity allowed the company to expand its operations and meet the pharmaceutical needs of Africa, a significant milestone in our journey of growth and development.
During the period from September 2007 to July 2008, Nihal engaged in consulting projects at Imperial College Business School. He focused on conducting feasibility studies, initiating innovation projects, and raising funds for various companies, including Visbion, McLaren Applied Technologies, and Biomagnetics Ltd. (Israel).
These projects significantly improved the companies' operations and financial performance, showcasing Nihal's ability to deliver results and drive innovation.
From October 2004 to January 2007, Nihal served as a Pharmacy Manager at LPC Pharmaceuticals Ltd in the United Kingdom, overseeing a group of ten pharmacies with a team of eight store managers and five staff members.
Before that, from September 2001 to August 2004, Nihal held the position of Store Manager at Boots the Chemist plc in the United Kingdom.
Nihal's specialties include strategy formulation, management, and business development, focusing on people development, marketing, and clinical pharmacy.

Derek Friend
With over 25 years of experience, Derek is a C Level Consultant Managing Operations, Middle East and Africa.
Prior to this role, he led as CEO of a multinational telecom in Botswana, spearheading advancements in country telecommunications for 3 years. Preceding his telecom tenure, Derek held the CEO position at a cloud software company for over a decade. During his tenure, he collaborated with foreign investors to secure capital, establishing a cloud-independent network exchange and connecting 850 global data centers with strategic carriers.
Derek's expertise in building robust, diverse teams and cultivating strategic partnerships across borders. He navigates complex challenges with cutting-edge technologies, drawing from deep industry knowledge working with KPMG UK Consulting.
Derek's career trajectory began in 1998 as an Aero IT Engineer in London, designing communication infrastructure for European airports. Since then, he has held leadership positions across continents (MEA, EMEA, APAC), managing multi-million USD P&L responsibilities and advising on mergers and acquisitions.
Derek serve as a trusted advocate for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's Council, shaping foreign policy and working with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a specialized agency of the United Nations. The chamber works on Identifying and sourcing advanced technology innovations for further development with prime vendors together in partnership with; NASA (the U.S. space agency), ESA (the European Space Agency), and SANSA (the South African National Space Agency).
