Patty Brandmaier is an executive and team coach and advisor. She specializes in creating the environment for growth and performance, focusing on the continuum of leadership at the individual, team, and organizational level and shaping a thriving work culture. Her passion is supporting the success of leaders looking to change, pivot, and grow for greater impact and contribution. Her expertise builds from over 38 years of lived experience as a leader in and working with leaders of mission- and business-driven organizations across multiple market sectors.

As an experienced executive, Patty believes that the leadership skill and resilience to navigate, achieve, and grow in today’s world are dependent on leader self-awareness and mindset, the ability to leverage the divergent talent of teams, and a commitment to build a thriving organizational culture to engage the workforce. She has worked with leaders and leadership teams in healthcare; the sportswear, financial services, and high technology industries; federal and local government, and non-profit and education organizations.

Patty retired from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after 32 years of service, the last seven years of which she held a succession of senior executive leadership positions, directly serving three Directors. She stewarded CIA’s relationships with both the Department of Defense and the US Congress and developed and led two mission. critical initiatives, an organization-wide culture change initiative to reset CIA’s culture and reengineering CIA’s nation-wide recruitment program to attract mission critical diverse talent. She also served abroad for over five years, to include in a high threat environment. Patty was the recipient of the Intelligence Commendation Medal; three Director Awards, the exclusive recognition of the Director of CIA; and the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal in recognition of her strategic leadership impact.

Matt Sitter is a passionate believer in the power of networks to innovate and realize new opportunities. His career has focused on helping leaders grow, succeed, and to mobilize their teams, organizations, and networks.

Matt’s work has spanned a broad array of industries including Healthcare, Technology, Real Estate Investment, Consumer Products, and Finance (amongst others). He has worked with multiple Fortune 500 executive teams, Private Equity firms, startups, and everything in between.

In addition to his role at AFN, Matt is currently a partner at the Advisory Services firm, Advantary. His experience includes leadership roles at The McChrystal Group, CrossLead, Inc., and MedLever. He has led multiple functions including Product Management, Marketing, Reimbursement, and Product Development.

Matt is a certified Executive Coach, completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University and received his MBA from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. He is a proud father and husband.
