Resilience When You Can’t Reduce the Stress
What works when the season of life won’t calm down.

With Subject Matter Experts

Kellie Mix, Executive Coach, Project Manager, Certified Burnout Expert, Sixth Wing
John Previtera, Executive Coach, Facilitator, Certified Burnout Expert, Sixth Wing

Much of the advice around resilience assumes you can change your circumstances. Get more sleep. Say no. Reduce commitments. Build in more recovery.

But there are seasons when those options aren’t available.

A new baby. Caring for a parent. A demanding leadership role. Financial pressure. An intense professional stretch. The load is real, and it’s not something you can step away from right now.
In this conversation, Kellie Mix and John Previtera will explore what resilience looks like when the stressor isn’t optional. Not how to eliminate pressure, but how to remain steady while it exists.

We’ll explore two distinctions that matter during chronic load seasons: relaxers versus stabilizers, and carrying versus solving. Not everything that restores you looks like rest, and not every pressure is meant to be fixed. Sometimes resilience is about restoring agency. Sometimes it’s about learning what needs to be carried.

This is not a webinar. It’s a facilitated, interactive conversation grounded in lived experience, psychology, and the realities of leadership. There will be space to reflect, to contribute, and to consider how these patterns show up in your own life and leadership.

If you’re navigating a season that feels heavy but non-negotiable, we invite you to join us. Come ready to think, to share if you’d like, and to leave with a clearer sense of what stability can look like even when the pressure remains.
